about me

I make films about science, conservation and expeditions. Hoping to make people a little more curious about whats around them.
For the past couple of years, I’ve been sailing around the world on a tall ship, filming conservation projects in some of the planet’s most remote and beautiful places. From the Galápagos and French Polynesia to Tasmania and Pitcairn Island. As part of the Darwin200 Global Voyage.
I’m a qualified drone pilot, rope access technician (IRATA, ACAP), and Advanced Open Water Diver - which basically means I can get to some weird, wild places to capture the shot. Whether climbing into a canopy, filming from a moving boat, or flying drones at sea.
Off set, I’m usually drinking coffee and going down a rabbit hole - learning something new and tinkering with a project - I just like making things.
I shoot primarily on a Sony FX6 and Sony A7S III, and fly a DJI Mavic 3 Pro under CAA Operational Authorisation. I also have an underwater housing for the A7S III, plus audio and post tools that keep me fully self-sufficient on location.
