Tom Dixon is a dynamic and versatile filmmaker with a passion for exploring and capturing the intricate connections between people and the natural world. His work focuses on telling compelling stories that highlight human interactions with the environment.
Having spent the last 2 years travelling the world by ship, documenting conservation stories, Tom is well versed with working internationally in ever changing difficult environments within small teams.
Tom is adaptable and has an aptitude for learning rapidly. As a qualified drone operator, rope access technician (IRATA1, BCAP) and Advanced Open Water Diver, Tom is always looking to broaden his capabilities to offer more to production.
With a strong technical aptitude and a lifelong love of tinkering, Tom has developed practical skills ranging from electronics and coding to woodwork and robotics. These skills fuel his personal projects, including designing and building custom camera equipment to push creative boundaries.
